We were invited to a lovely dinner party at my bestie’s home. Her husband is a food genius who created a wonderful menu and culinary experience for us to enjoy (she was his trusty sous chef). His sister put together the stylish decorative touches that enhanced the ambiance for this event.
The menu included items such as braised lamb neck & polenta, vegetable chili atop cornbread, watermelon & feta salad, beer-battered fish, and other scrumptious dishes. Cocktails served were a bourbon-based strawberry-lemon-ginger mix and a twist on the whiskey sour, with a dash of plum wine. Dessert was a berry cheesecake parfait served in mason jars. Needless to say, this was an amazing evening!
